Full of information - I used it every day July 11, 2006 This great little book gave me peace of mind throughout my pregnancy. Nine months sometimes feels like an eternity - especially when it's your first time - and with this book I was able to put my baby's (and my own) progress in perspective day by day. It's a cute little package that I kept by my side virtually the whole time. Packed full of information about baby and mum, it really made me think about my own health too - which can't be a bad thing! The photos are amazing and seeing the development of the babies in the book made me feel all the more excited about what was going on with my little one. The other books I had were all a bit "hard work", so it was great to have something so easy to read and informative at hand.
A brilliant little book June 30, 2006 I bought lots of pregnancy books, but this was my favorite. I can take it out with me, imagine what my baby looks like and show others to. This book was also a hit with my partner and child for the same reasons. I don't think you could be disappointed with this wonderful book.
Nothing new May 6, 2006 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book expecting to get a scientific and enlightening picture of my little one day by day. The pictures to me were quite small and I expected there to be chronological guidance to your pregnancy step by step.
Instead, I found the book talking about returning to work at the same time as showing you a picture at around week 28 for instance, when all I wanted to know was what my baby was doing inside of me at this time. I hadn't even given up work at this point, let alone thought about going back! Although it was to be expected, the pictures week by week are too similar and all of the baby's face.
It does give useful advice about certain pregnancy conditions but nothing that you couldn't get from any other pregnancy book out there. Disappointed by what I thought was going to become my pregnancy bible.
I did look at this book every day! November 21, 2005 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a lovely little book. It doesn't set out to be a pregnancy Bible but is packed with the daily basics. The photos are fantastic and really help you to understand just what is happenning to you. It was my partners favourite book that we bought, and helped him feel more involved.
